The **Rank By City Report** in the **Keywords Section** of the **Storagely Reporting Engine** provides insights into how well your storage facility ranks for various keywords in different **cities** across both **organic Google search results and Google Maps search results**. This report helps facility operators analyze **SEO performance** on a **geographic level**, track keyword ranking trends over time, and optimize their **local search visibility**.
Users can access this report for **a single facility or across an entire portfolio**, allowing for both **location-specific and multi-site SEO evaluation**.
# 2. Navigating to the Rank By City Report
To access the **Rank By City Report**:
1. Log in to your **Storagely Dashboard**.
2. In the **left sidebar menu**, click on **Reporting Engine**.
3. Navigate to the section and select **Rank By City**.
# 3. Understanding the Interface
## A. Selecting Locations
Users can view data for **a single facility or all locations** using the **dropdown menu in the top left corner**. This feature allows facility managers to evaluate keyword rankings at a **specific site** or across **multiple locations**.
## B. Date Last Synced
The report includes a **"Date Last Synced"** indicator, which shows when the rankings were last updated, ensuring users are working with the latest data.
## C. Report Sections
The **Rank By City Report** contains two sections:
1. **Organic Search Ranking **– Shows keyword rankings in standard **Google search results**.
2. **Map Search Ranking** – Displays keyword rankings in **Google Maps search results**.
## D. Key Metrics Displayed
Each section provides ranking data over multiple time frames, helping users analyze SEO trends. The table includes the following columns:
- **Keyword** – The specific keyword being tracked.
- **3/MO Ago** – The rank recorded **three months ago**.
- **30 Days Ago** – The rank recorded **one month ago**.
- **2 Weeks Ago** – The rank recorded **two weeks ago**.
- **Current** – The latest keyword ranking in **Google search or Google Maps**.
- **Storage Location** – The facility associated with the keyword ranking.

Each keyword ranking is **color-coded** to indicate its performance level:
- **Ranks 1-3**: **Green** (Top search results in Google or Google Maps)
- **Ranks 4-10**: **Blue** (Still within the first page of results)
- **Ranks 11-30**: **Yellow** (Second/third page results)
- **Ranks 31+**: **Red** (Low visibility)
# 4. Sorting and Filtering Data
## A. Sorting Columns
Users can **sort the table in ascending or descending order** by clicking the **up/down arrows** in the column headers. The following columns are sortable:
- **Keyword**
- **3/MO Ago**
- **30 Days Ago**
- **2 Weeks Ago**
- **Current**
- **Storage Location**
# 5. Exporting Data
The **export feature** allows users to download their **Rank By City Report** as a **CSV file** for further analysis. The export includes:
- **Keyword**
- **3/MO Ago, 30 Days Ago, 2 Weeks Ago, and Current Rankings**
- **Storage Location**
To export:
1. Click the **Export to CSV** button in the top-right corner.
2\. The file will download automatically for **offline analysis or reporting**.
