## Purpose

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for bringing your storage facility onto the Storagely platform — ensuring you’re fully set up for online visibility, tracking, and rental success from day one.

It applies to **all location types**, whether operational, pre-launch, or preparing for marketing campaigns.

## 📍 Location Types

### 1️⃣ Operational Locations

Facilities currently open and accepting rentals.

- **Requirements:**
  - Rent & Reserve capabilities active on Storagely.
  - Facility Management Software (FMS) connection or Facility ID.

### 2️⃣ Pre-Launch Locations

Facilities preparing to open but not yet fully operational.

**A. Content-Only Pre-Launch**

- **No reservations yet.**
- Purpose:
  - Build early online presence.
  - Secure SEO footprint by claiming your URL.
  - Start building organic search authority.
- **Requirements:** None (no FMS connection).
- ➡ *If you want to enable reservations later, just let us know!*
- *➡ If you'd like to acquire lead information prior to opening and/or enabling reservations we can do one of two options:*
  - W*e're happy to add a provided email address to the page's content. *
  - *You may provide a contact for that we'll embed on the web page. *

**B. Reservation-Active Pre-Launch**

- **Accepting early reservations before opening.**
- **Requirements:** Active FMS connection.
- ➡ *If you’ve shared an expected open date, our team will check in ahead of time to confirm everything is ready.*

## 🛠️ What to Expect: Our Process

### 1️⃣ Kickoff & Information Collection

We’ll help you provide:

- **New Location Form** (via ContentSnare) with essential details.
- Updates to your **Source of Truth (SOT)** document.
- Name, Address, Phone Number (NAP).
- Facility ID or property identifier.
- Nearby cities you’d like to rank for.

### 2️⃣ Platform Setup

While we wait on final details:

- Launch a **Coming Soon** or streamlined page.
- Add your location to:
  - “Storage Units Near Me” page.
  - Relevant City Pages.
- Begin setting up keywords.
- Optimize your Google Business Profile (if possible).

### 3️⃣ Technical Setup

Behind the scenes, we’ll:

- Connect your FMS system:
  - **StorEDGE:** Facility ID required.
  - **SiteLink or SSM:** You’ll confirm the connection.
- Configure:
  - Rental system for smooth bookings.
  - Storagely Listings Tool sync.
  - Google Reviews sync.
  - Call tracking numbers.
  - SEO and analytics systems.

### 4️⃣ Marketing Planning & Launch (If Applicable)

Once the onboarding forms are complete:

- We’ll recommend a tailored marketing budget.
- After your approval:
  - Plan campaigns.
  - Define target keywords.
  - Launch marketing deliverables.
