**Key Notes Before You Begin:**

- Replace any instance of "@gmail.com" in the instructions with your domain name if you're using a custom email address from Google Workspace.

2. **Open the Admin Console:**
   - Click on the grid icon in the top-right corner of the page and select "Admin Console."
3. **Navigate to Gmail Settings:**
   - In the Admin Console, click on **Apps**, then select **Google Workspace** (formerly G Suite).
   - From the list of apps, click on **Gmail** and then go to **Advanced Settings**.
4. **Configure SMTP Relay Service:**
   - Scroll to the **SMTP Relay Service** section and click **Add Setting**.
   - In the "Add SMTP Relay Service" dialog, fill in the required details:
     - **Description:** Enter a name for the SMTP service (e.g., "SMTP Server").
     - **Name:** smtp.gmail.com
     - **Port:** Choose either 465 for SSL or 587 for TLS.
     - **Encryption:** Select **TLS/SSL**, depending on your email client or website SMTP plugin.
5. **Save Your Settings:**
   - Click **Save** to confirm and apply the configuration.

## Configuring Your Email Client or Application:

Once the SMTP server is set up, configure your email client or application to use these settings:

- **Encryption:** Choose **TLS** or **SSL** based on your client or plugin.
- **Username:** Your full Google Workspace email address (e.g., yourname\@yourdomain.com).
- **Password:** Your Google Workspace password.

## Sending Emails:

After completing these steps, your email client or application should be ready to send emails through the Google Workspace SMTP server. Ensure your email client supports the chosen encryption method and that credentials are correctly entered.
